    Well made, easy to use.
This unit has been a life saver. My wife has recently been suffering from leg weakness. she cannot stand for more that 30 seconds before she starts to collapse. Several times she sags down to the floor and I can’t lift her up again. Several calls to the Fire Dept for assistance. This unit has worked wonderfully. I’m able to assist her when she stands, then I rotate the two clam shell like seats behind her and she is safe and secure. I can then wheel her to the bathroom, bedroom, etc. Great device and great price. Additional info. The base legs with the caster are fixed, however they are wide enough to fit around the base of a toilet. They are narrow enough to fit under a wheelchair.

    Life Saver Game Changer!
I wish I knew about this sooner! When my mom’s mobility went way down and we couldn’t use a walker I was panicking about how to get her from the bed to the bathroom. This Vive product is perfect because it helps her stand safely and is really easy to use. It’s actually good exercise to have her stand instead of being lifted or carried and it feels secure. Much easier transfer than getting into a wheelchair and it slides right over the toilet! It is challenging when she is unwilling or unable to stand up but it works well if there are two people available. And the metal rings you pull out to put the seat in place got bent out of shape, but we replaced them with cute Barbie key chains that are easy to grip. Very happy with this product! I wish I could do a commercial and let more people know about it!

Bought to facilitate my husband coming home after stroke rehab
Overall it is a sturdy piece of equipment. There are a few things that drove me a little crazy and it took me a while to get used to. To be fair, my husband was in an acute rehab for a stroke and was using the $3K one at the hospital. I have a couple of negative points – the wheel locks tend to not stay locked, the front floor leg arms are not adjustable so it makes it hard to get around other items such as wheel chairs and doorways. Finally, the pull rings for the seat to lean on was a total pain to get used to. However, overall it is a sturdy piece of equipment at a fraction of the cost of the expensive ones, it serves its purpose well once you get used to it. I also learned to pull the pins early to be ready if he was having trouble standing. It is nicely made and will last a long time. I am not unhappy with the purchase at all. Thank you for a nicely made and an affordable alternative product.

    Does the job well!
Hardest part of putting the sit to stand transfer device was getting it into our home. The deliverer got it to the porch and just left without ringing the doorbell to notify me that he’d delivered it. I’m 77 and getting that large box in the house was quite a task. After verifying all the parts were there, putting the device together was relatively straightforward and simple. Illustrations were very good and written instructions very clear. The sit to stand device performed well. One Ot the seat paddles was tightened almost too tight as it is difficult to move it into and out of position. I don’t like the ring pull that unlocks the paddles so they can be positioned correctly. Have to move around from side to side to release.

    People Mover
This is a great device to move a person who has difficulty walking and standing. It comes disassembled and you have to put it together. It does come with all the tools necessary and was fairly easy to put together. I don’t like the locks on it. And the pull ring on the lock should be replaced with something else to pull besides the ring. The device is user friendly for the most part and we have enjoyed using it for our family member who had a stroke and their left side was paralyzed.

I would give it !0 stars if i could
well built! I’ve been able to be transported from wheelchair to bathroom or commode easily and safely by caregiver and family the last month. i appreciate that it protects their backs and gives me more of the chance to participate in a controlled way.A Sarah Steady is great at the Hospital but it would be too wide for our home and is 5x the cost for the same outcome.

    Works great
My husband is twice my size in height and weight. I can get him up in this and transfer him in and out of a chair, bed, bedside commode and bath chair. It’s amazing how it works.

Strong contender to original Sara Steady
If you need a stand up patient transport unit this is for you. Only minor assembly issues. Quick delivery. An original Sara Steady was used in the rehab facility. Was told needed at home and rather than pay over $2000 for the brand name decided to get this unit for around $500. This unit requires the butt pads to be unlocked when fanning out. Very steady and maneuverable being slightly smaller overall. Nice 2 yr warranty. No regrets making this purchase and has been a literal life saver maneuvering my wife around the condo and has helped build up her leg strength and loosen ankle stiffness. Comes right up to the toilet and to bed side. Using this unit has also allowed her to stand up confidently. Make note that not covered under medicare.
