Best Phone I Have Ever Had and The Intercom Feature is a Blessing
It was time to replace our old expensive 2 line phones as my husband retired last year. I did a lot of research on phones and needed something where I could contact my husband in the middle of the night in an emergency. My husband is handicapped and watches TV most nights for hours as his neurogenic nerve pain keeps him awake. Consequently we sleep in separate bedrooms. I had a serious stroke a couple of years ago upon waking up. Cut a long story short, we both need to get a hold of each other in case of emergency. Along comes this FANTASTIC Panasonic phone system. The intercom feature is an absolute blessing. All I have to do is connect with his room and start talking (or yelling to wake him up) and he doesn’t even have to pick up his handset to hear me. We can converse clearly even if he is in the en-suite bathroom. We are both deaf in one ear and if one of us needs to speak to the other somewhere in the house, again, the intercom works so well. A year after my stroke I bought some walkie talkies and they were useless, too fussy to set up channels and noise interference all night etc. Aside from the fantastic intercom, the phone with all its excellent features is such a bargain for the price. I bought five other handsets to put all over the house and I must say the clarity of the voice is absolutely perfect….so much better than our old expensive systems that often crackled. Very impressive phone system and I comment on how much I love the phone after every use. My excitement about this phone still hasn’t worn off. Kudos Panasonic and a huge THANK YOU for giving us piece of mind during the night.

Good extra handset, but – GRRRR – plug for charging base no longer passes through desk cutouts!
The phone handset is fine – good sound, etc. – but Panasonic has CHEAPED OUT out by removing (as compared with former models of same item) the little plug that connects … and, importantly, DISCONNECTS … the wire itself from the charging cradle. Instead, the charging base is now permanently attached/welded to the LARGE plug that goes into the electrical outlet. Without the little plug-in device at the base of the charging cradle, the large plug end can no longer drop through a standard desk hole cutout. We had to completely re-configure where the phones go, to address the now-visible, now-in-the-way phone wiring. GRRRR.

Great handpiece for existing system
Cell phone service at our home is terrible, so we have kept the landline. Recently the line to our kitchen went out and the phone company couldn’t fix it. We already had the main system for this phone so moved it to another room. However, we missed the phone in the kitchen so bought this additional phone to use there. It was easy to set up to work with the main phone. The sound is just as could, and being cordless, it is handy to be able to move it wherever I need it.

Had to get another handset for the Panasonic landline phone I purchased for my convince.it sure was very easy to set up which surprised me.the original purchase included the desk phone and 1 handset and only costed $56 and this hand set alone was almost as much. If the handsets ever go on sale I will certainly buy another one.

Works as well as the original unit I replaced.
I had a handset that lost its volume so I purchased this to replace it. I had to do nothing other than charge the battery and connect the phone line and it worked as all others in the system.I only wish that it had more volume. The speaker phone volume is sufficient in a quiet room but difficult to hear if there is much background noise.No comment on the lock feature as I don’t even know what that is.Despite the negatives I still recommend this handset based on personal use.

Excellent system
I purchased this handset because I needed one more to go with the 5-set system I already had. The main system hangs on the wall in the kitchen and the handsets are spread throughout the house. I love it that when someone calls I can hear the message on ALL the phones in the house (you can turn this feature off if you want). I’m not one who rushes to answer the phone if I am in the middle of something so this feature is valuable. You can also get a verbal of who’s calling on all the sets. Last but not least, the call blocking system is just wonderful and a big raspberry in the face of those awful telemarketers who call several times a day. The system is perfect.

You can’t beat a Panasonic product
I have owned the âmotherâ phone with one of these hand sets for a number of years and decide to get one extra hand set for another room. Works just a good as the first set. Love Panasonic products! I wish they made cars!

De entrada, necesitas tener una base que sea compatible con esta extensión⦠dicho esto, tanto la base como las extensiones funcionan a las mil maravillas⦠el auricular de la base tiene cable y se cuelga como un teléfono tradicional, las extensiones son del tipo botón verde y rojo⦠se pueden añadir hasta seis extensiones a una base, solamente conectando a un contacto eléctrico⦠el conjunto de lÃnea fija es muy personalizable, tiene bloqueo de llamadas, directorio y se pueden programar horarios, por ejemplo que de las 9 pm a las 9 am solamente entren las llamadas de cierto grupo de personasâ¦
