Soothe and Cool INZO Barrier Cream leaves a non-greasy, invisible moisture barrier. The non-petrolatum formula won’t obstruct brief pores, while vitamins A, D and E nourish the skin. INZO Barrier Cream is ideal for ostomy sites or peri wound skin to protect skin from maceration damage. It prevents moisture, urine and fecal matter from contacting skin and allows the skin to breathe without being occlusive. The product is formulated without dyes or perfumes and is ideal for use under tape. 4 ounce bottle.

    Repellent
Repels urine well, contains zinc oxide, mostly for bed bound individuals. Do not use if ambulatory, will leak through clothing, ruins clothes.

    Nice
Love these. Nice support and don’t slide down as much as others

TMI but hey, it really works!
So I’ve moved to Florida and I underestimated the humidity. Specifically the humidity between my buttcheeks! As an active person, I was getting a terrible itchy rash almost constantly no matter how well I cleaned, showered, powdered, etc. and trying not to scratch your butt in polite company is embarrassing. After just one application of this stuff, I’ve found blessed relief. Now every day and every night after I shower and dry, I slather on a bit of this stuff and I remain happily dry and rash free. Hooray!

    beware of the other ingredients
I should know better than to order something when the description does not give the full list of ingredients. This is from the label: Active: dimethicone 5%; Inactive: benzethonium chloride, cetyl alcohol, chloroxyenol, cholecalciferol, glyceryl stearate, lanolin, quaternium-15, retinyl palmitate, sodium lauryl sulfate, sorbitol, tocopheryl acetate, water, zinc oxide. I have two issues: personally, my skin is sensitive to lanolin–if I had known there was lanolin in this product, I never would have ordered it. Second, I don’t know where people get the idea this is 5% zinc oxide; it doesn’t say that on the label anywhere. In fact, zinc oxide comes at the end of the ingredients list. That used to mean that they are listed in decreasing amount so that zinc oxide would be present in the least amount, but this list appears to be alphabetical so maybe that doesn’t apply here. Maybe it is 5% zinc oxide, but you wouldn’t know if by looking at the tube. In summary, I feel like I have been hoodwinked by the lack of ingredients in the description. Let the buyer beware.Updated 5/15/19: My original two-star rating was too harsh. This skin cream seems like a good product. I am still critical that the description doesn’t list the ingredients, and that the claim of 5% zinc oxide is not verified on the tube, but I have been using the product–despite my sensitivity to the lanolin ingredient–and it seems as if it calms the sensitive skin without objectionable odor. Most people with normal skin should be able to use this cream without a problem.

    Rash and splitting gone
Before using Medline I tried many products with some measure of success. However, more often than not my wife had rashes under her breasts, stomach and groin. She also had recurrent splits in the skin above the anus. Several months ago and after each bath, we began applying Medline on the rash and split prone areas. I am so pleased. For the first time in years, the rashes and splits are gone and are no longer recurring.

No Greasy Film. Absorbs into your skin.
After trying a number of different types of barrier cremes (including a number of other Medline brand cremes like their Calazime, Phytoplex Z-Guard, and more), I’ve come to like this Medline Soothe and Cool formula for one main reason:* It’s absorbed into your skin.Other cream types leave too much of their content on the skin’s surface, thanks to their Petroleum content (making them more like vaseline with other ingredients added in). This cream doesn’t have that problem. It vanishes into your skin as it’s rubbed in, without leaving a greasy film.Good stuff.

    Barrier for adults
I used this on my clients and now my husband uses it instead of jock cream.

    It’s ok.
