Definitely waterproof!
I bought these mainly for the waterproof feature. I have four slobbery dogs, one with a weak bladder that tends to… well… leak when she gets over-excited. So many covers claimed to be waterproof but they barely did a thing. These have been absolutely AMAZING. Nothing has made it through them to the couch.Kind of a pain in the bum to wash because they take a while to dry, and the fit is pretty loose (my fault for buying a bigger size to ensure it would actually fit) but the color is beautiful. The material is very soft and comfortable. Been washed three times and still look brand new.

BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!
First, we have two 16 year old cats who barf on everything. Yuk. We have two custom covered sofas – in grey linen that do not have removable or washable cushion covers – these two beasts have practically destroyed with their scratching and vomiting. Up until now, we’ve been covering the sofas with grey towels and hand towels in the arms. So attractive, not.I’ve looked and looked for slip covers that would fit the 92″ W x 39″ D x 28″ H, finally settled on these. I have to say, they look way better than the towels, they may give a bit of an Aunt Minerva vibe with the fit but they are very stretchy, thicker pile and have a treated backing that, I hope, will keep the wetness from soaking through. I’ll follow up with another comment once we live with these for a little while, but for now, they’re a good solution to our cat issue. I mean, they can’t live forever, can they? Well priced and were shipped very quickly, easy for two people to fit to the sofas. Also, they come with little mini pool noodle-like holders to keep the tucks in place.***Update – these covers are very durable & I’ve found them to be waterproof. Easy to wash & dry. They fit right back onto the sofa with no shrinkage and no fading.

Fits my [VERY LARGE] oversized couch
So…about to have a baby and really REALLY didn’t want my gorgeous couches ruined by spit up, blow outs, barf, and various child-related accident horror stories that seemed to be inevitable.My couches are HUGE. Not just “oversized”, no no. These babies are plush and massive. We had to take off the patio doors to get them into the house (and turn them slightly canted still at that). I love them but they are definitely not standard size. I thought about making my own covers, but to get enough truly waterproof fabric….would have cost a lot. With all the rest of our upcoming expenses, just didn’t want to break the bank buying fabric.I found these instead and took a chance after reading reviews. I still had my doubts they’d fit, but these seemed to be the largest ones I could find so…had to try. They not only fit, but they are hella waterproof. Before I even BOTHERED to negotiate this around the couches, I straight up poured water on a section of this cover (so it pooled up in a little bowl of fabric). Left it for HOURS. Came back, checked my control paper towel that I’d stuck underneath it for dampness. None. Completely dry. Pool was still there. Wiped it up….fabric was completely dry. I was amazed. After then confirming that I could fit it around my huge couch (which to my amazement worked), I bought a second one just in case I need to wash one and still have the couch protected.I feel MUCH MORE CONFIDENT about the well-being of my couches knowing the cover is on them. Even my cat, little bastard that he is, couldn’t wreck them when he barfed all over the place. Wiped right off, couldn’t even tell they’d been soiled. Still washed them of course, but didn’t penetrate though at all.

I got the sofa and loveseat size. I like that they have a good bit of stretch to them and are waterproof. A con for me is they take forever to dry. I followed the instructions and used low heat. They took 2 hours and were still a bit damp. If you have an extra extract on your washer (I do not) I would recommend using that.

100% waterproof!!
My cat has started peeing on the couch due to her old age, and we had to get rid of the old one and buy a new one because of the saturated smells. (Even enzyme cleaners couldn’t help it) so I ordered this along with the new couch and let me tell you, it is 100% waterproof. She’ll pee on it and the pee will just sit right on top. We had to leave home for a couple of days (don’t worry I had my mom check on her) and over the course of 5 days the pee did not soak in. At all. It is also very easy to clean- I clean it in the wash with the enzyme cleaner on the sanitize mode, and it comes out brand new every time. It doesn’t smell like leftover cat pee. It’s AMAZING. This couch cover is a miracle and a couch-life saver. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Good. product at a good price
Bought this cover for my living room chair that my dog LOVES to sit in. The cover is waterproof, as tested by my pup’s leaky bladder issues!! Only complaint is that the cover is slightly big for my chair. Overall, I am very pleased with with the cover.

Almost perfect.
Pros: This waterproof couch cover is absolutely 100% waterproof. Not a single drop will leak through onto your actual couch. The colors are nice and rich, although they do fade ever-so-slightly with the first wash. It is about as easy to install as any other one-piece couch cover, but due to the waterproof lining, it is significantly heavier. The texture of the fabric is a bit rough, but it’s also very tough, which is perfect to protect my furniture from our rambunctious, large breed dogs. Their scent also washes right out, so no concerns about the house smelling “doggy” over time.Cons: NOT DRYER SAFE. The heat of a dryer, even on low, WILL melt the waterproofing. It MUST be air-dried and it is HEAVY when wet. Like….incomprehensibly heavy. It is also so incredibly waterproof that it needs to be wrung out and laid to dry in a position where water cannot pool ANYWHERE (or you’ll have to reposition it many times as it dries). I use an industrial carpet dryer fan to speed up the process and its absolutely worth it for my household full of dogs, but it may be more than parents with a household full of kids want to tolerate.

I purchased this cover based on how it looked in the picture. I have the correct size couch according to the measurements/description noted in the advertisement however the cover is baggy on my couch even after using the fitting rods provides. Very disappointed.

Bought this in 2023, have washed a couple times, it’s plastic backing that protects from leaks has stretched and has many holes after a years worth of use. You constantly have to fix and re tuck in the cushions or you have a lot of over hang. Overall was happy in the beginning, definitely don’t want to be spending $100’s every year on new covers but better then thousands on a new couch I guess
