Very sturdy and wide
This is an EXCELLENT option for heavier folks. It is very wide and even has the option of dropping the handles if you need more space (wide hips/large thighs). I’m 5’8 rounded up, and mostly torso, short legs so I wish this came down just a tad more…if I sit all the way back, my feet will not touch the floor. Overall very happy with purchase – FSA did reimburse me for purchase as it is considered medical equipment (even though at time of purchase Amazon did not have it labeled “FSA-Eligible”).

Fits a near 300lb person with ease
My husband is having knee surgery and the easy toilet seats are too small, this however is able to fit his hips with quite a bit of wiggle room. The back bar fits right over our toilet with no problem, and it fits in our standing shower with a couple of inches extra. The only thing I’d have to say is definitely put this together well before you think that you’ll need it and have someone who can tighten screws that might give slight troubles. We had a bit of paint on the threads of one hole but got past it pretty easy.

Not all of the pieces were in the box. The mounting brackets for the collection bucket were not on the seat or the box. It looked like the design didnât have the bracket in mind to hold the bucket.

Study product for a larger person
Bought this for my elderly father. It is sturdy and overall well made. The assembly was fairly easy. The seat is not padded, but neither is a standard toilet seat so this is not a problem.
