Copper Compression Full Finger Arthritis

Very Effective
I have been having issues with swelling in my fingers and it is especially bad in the morning when I wake up. This is the result of many years on the keyboard (software developer) and age. These gloves offer the proper compression to alleviate swelling and my fingers are not as stiff in the morning when I wake up. The elasticity wears off after a while, but it’s good for about 3-6 months before having to replace.

Love them, but want more colors!
I have a lot of different brands of compression gloves, but these are by far my favorite. The fabric is thin and more comfortable than any others. I wear them when I go for a walk or run because my fingers will swell otherwise.There are a few things I wish they would change…1. The touchscreen fingers don’t work very well. I ended up cutting off the very ends of the thumb and pointer fingers and finishing the edges with a zigzag stitch by hand. It would be better if they touchscreen was improved or if they put slits in those two fingers so you could pop your fingers out easily.2. The glove goes further up my wrist than I need it to. I’d be happy if it ended just before my watch, but I’m sure other people like it going a bit up their wrist.3. COLORS!!! I really wish there were other options besides black. Either a few choices of skin tones or maybe a bunch of bright colors. I would snap them all up so if there were options to either blend in to my skin color or just be bold and match my workout clothing.Even with these three notes, I still love them more than any of the other brands I have.

Comparison to Tommy Copper full finger compression gloves
These are the best compression gloves I’ve found, ergo the 3 star review.However, I really wish they would make them a bit longer. I am a woman with long slender hands. The small fits perfectly except that the fingers are 1/2″ short. And I keep my nails trimmed short! If I had longer nails, these wouldn’t work at all. As it is, I make do by pulling on the fingers once I’ve put them on. I only use these at night or on long car trips, so I can get away with that. If I had to wear them all day, it would be a problem since I can’t spread my fingers fully when I’ve tugged on the fingertips.In comparison to the Tommy Copper full finger compression gloves:SIZING: Tommy Copper gloves are longer and wider than these.COMPRESSION: These actually compress. The smallest size in the Tommy Copper gloves is too large to compress my hands, so they don’t compress at all.TOUCH SCREEN CAPABILITY: These gloves do NOT work on touchscreens, not at all. The Tommy Copper gloves do, although the design is not ideal. I have to continually twist the fingertip on the Tommy Copper glove to use my phone.SILICON GRIP: These gloves surpass the Tommy Copper, the silicone works a bit better and has fuller coverage.MATERIAL: The Tommy Copper gloves feel silky soft, these do not. You can feel the copper thread running throughout the material. That’s not a problem for my hands, but when I touch my face, it feels very scratchy.

Wonderful Anti-microbial gloves
I didn’t buy these gloves for arthritis relief, but instead because they have copper infused into the threads. Copper has anti-microbial properties that come in handy in these virus-laden times. The gloves themselves fit fantastic and I have no problem using them with my smartphone, which is plus. I wear them at work to keep safe, and they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time and do not get too hot. There is good quick customer support from the company. However, they do not come with instructions on how best to clean them—so I’ll give them to you now.1) Wash by hand in cold water with a mild soap.2) Wring and then let air-dry.Though the copper in the gloves is self-sanitizing, this added procedure will help:1) Purchase some 24-guage sheet copper—I bought this product:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AKMNNX4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=12) With tins snips, cut it in half so you have 2 sheets, each measuring 6″ X 12″.3) Put the gloves side by side on one of the sheets—palms up.4) Make sure that all of the fingers and thumbs of the gloves are on the copper sheet.5) Put the other copper sheet on top of the gloves so that it aligns with the sheet below.6) Cover both sheets with a heavy book so that the top copper sheet is being pushed down onto the gloves.7) Leave overnight.This keeps the copper infused in the threads in contact with the copper sheets on both sides of the gloves. This will help kill any organisms existant on the gloves and will give you a fresh start for the day!
