  1. Grandma Chaos

    Easy to assemble
I bought this for my father in law who is having surgery next week. It’s difficult for him to get out of bed on his own, but he is fiercely independent. I thought this would help him be more self sufficient. It’s incredibly sturdy because it goes in between the mattress and the box spring. His own body weight helps to hold it down as he pulls on it. I looked at a few different brands, but they all got in the way of him getting into bed. This one has a really handy feature. It folds down and out of the way when you aren’t using it. It’s height adjustable so it fits any bed. I really appreciate the detachable bag as well. It’s the perfect place for his remote and his crossword puzzle book. It even has a light for nighttime bathroom visits.

Works for a full sized bed
While I didn’t put this under my mattress, due to having surgery recently, I did watch the person put this together and it didn’t really take much. We both looked over the instructions and they were really self explanatory and easy to follow along. Once this was put together, I was worried I was going to feel the piece that went under the mattress but that’s not the case at all. The rail does have good padding on it and I have yet to experience myself slipping while holding or grabbing on to it. I really love the mesh bag that I was able to connect because it allows me to keep everything I need inside without having to constantly get up and down to grab my stuff. The light is the best part because it’s motion sensored and anytime I get up in the middle of the night, its bright enough that I’m not tripping over anything. This thing has made it so much easier for me to get in and out of bed with ease. Even if I just want to sit on the side, I have something I can grab and hold onto just in case I feel dizzy.

Not perfect but does the job
Good: Easy to put together and install, adjustable height. Reasonably easy to raise and lower the bar when needed–you twist two small hand screws. Could be problematic if you have arthritis. Easy to do in the dark.Neutral: Sturdy but I don’t think it is intended to serve as a real grab bar. It keeps the person secure in bed.Bad: As others have mentioned, when the bar is down, the person can’t or shouldn’t sit directly over the folding part of the device because the “legs” of it will dig into their legs. If you install it closer to the pillow, shouldn’t be a problem.

    Does not take up space.
Easy to assemble, sturdy, and the perfect height to fit next to my shoulder, between the nightstands, but still be able to reach for a drink, which makes her more independent and doesn’t take up too much space.

    Peace of mind
My spouse has night terrors and occasionally jumps off the side of the bed. Now we both can rest a little better knowing that we have a barrier there for safety. It was easy to setup. We plan on taking it with us when we go on vacationThe censor light that comes on when one of us gets up at night is very helpful. We are pleased with our purchase

    Useful handhold out of bed
We use this on our king size bed. The stabilizing bar slides under the mattress and is fairly planted so long as it’s a heavier mattress. The grab bar can be adjusted out either side to accomodate how the person using it gets into bed. My husband has it adjusted to be at his elbow when he’s laying down. It allows him to grab the bar and pivot his legs out unhindered. The included light and storage pocket are nice, however, with the depth of our mattress, it’s below useable level.Overall I’d recommend this for any situation where assistance out of bed is required.

  7. Love the material love the fit

No. Painful for patient getting in and out of bed. Legs hit the bars. I will be returning this item
This product look good in photo but was very painful for a patient to get in and out of bed

    Exceeds expectations!
I got my Gazoba bed rails about a week ago and installed them myself using the video on Amazon. They were designed for senior citizens, and it shows. They fold down, which makes them really nice. Additionally, they include a motion safety light that can be attached magnetically and has several modes, making it ideal for nighttime illumination. These bed rails are sturdy and dependable which works for me because I need something I can depend on so I don’t fall. With integrated storage compartments for convenient access to necessities and a flat tube design for comfort, the design is incredibly well-thought-out.These bed rails exceeded my expectations, and I recommend them to anyone who needs some help getting out of bed.
