Love it so much, we bought it twice!
This is just very reliable, mostly used it for the car (short ppl probs) and my MIL loved it so we gifted her one! I used it briefly for work chair before I got an upgrade. Your behind will love it! ergonomic and comfy.

I have a coworker that used this brand cushion and it felt very supportive and cushioned well. The one I ordered, aside from a different color, feels way different. Not as supportive or cushioned the same. I wonder why if it’s supposed to be exact same product.

Bought two other cushion s before this both seem soft until you sit on it. They compress to a hard pad. This stays nice and cushy.

Perfect for me!
Got the first of these cushions several years ago after returning to work after breaking my hip socket. I had tried using my wheelchair cushion but it was too big for my office chair. This cushion proved to be excellent for getting me out of the depression in the seat of the office chair for folks with “normal” bottoms. In December 2023 I had a third surgery on my hid and got a total hip replacement, and was required to be non-weight bearing on my new hip. I again tried to use the wheelchair cushion that I used 6 years ago, but it again proved to be unusable due to not having a cloth cover over the vinyl surface. So I got a 2nd xtreme comfort cushion, and it worked perfectly in the wheelchair, with good cushion and a breathable surface.I am no longer in the wheelchair because my Mayo Clinic doctor has cleared me to walk and drive. I have gotten a third Xtreme Comfort cushion that I keep in my car because it affords me the ability to raise my seating surface without raising the seat. As a user of three of these cushions, it’s obvious that they work perfect for me!!

Flat and uncomfortable after 6 months
Took a few days to a week to fluff up, initially fairly comfortable, but has gone completely flat after 6 months of moderate use by normal size female. Would not buy again.

Good combination of firm support & soft comfort. Adds height to seat but does not fit all vehicles.
I’m happy with this purchase. I’m a quite short woman and I drive a big truck. People actually laugh when they see me climb in. I had trouble seeing over the wheel and the factory seat is very uncomfortable; it slants backward at the most upright setting and offers no back support. I’ve back surgeries and it was painful to drive. I bought this cushion and it gave me the height I needed and is comfortable. I wish it had another inch of height. It is also a little too wide at the back to fit all the way back in the curve of the seat. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. This cushion does slide forward a bit when I get in and out but does not slide when sitting and a little less width at the point where it touches the seat back would solve that problem. I like that it is wide at the front and covers the entire seat. I think that might make a big difference to someone with wider legs than me. I now have a comfortable ride. It’s also really easy for other drivers to just pick it up and move it out of the way.I read some negative reviews that this cushion smashes down too much and is not firm. I do not find it sinks in that much and I am using it for height but, of course, it compresses somewhat. It would not be comfortable for relieving pain if it was too hard. I think it is a pretty good combination of firm support and soft comfort.I agree with some reviewers that it is way more expensive than it needs to be although it is very well made. I edited this review because I have had it for a couple of years now with absolutely no visible wear and no loss of support. For that I am adding back the star I took off earlier but leaving in the reason I took one star off originally. I can now say it is comfortable on long trips. It has seriously saved my butt and my back on several long trips. it is much more comfortable than the factory seat and those trips would have been really painful to me.I highly recommend you try it. I am so glad I have it.

I bought two cushion supports for my car seat (which have helped a lot). I’m driving a 2017 Prius and the drivers seat (combined with other factors I’m sure) caused my back to have incredibly severe, painful spasms. I’ve been doing many things to help Heal it (more details below) and one of them was to buy support cushions.The first cushion I bought (and I’m still using) is a wedge shaped cushion to sit on. My seat is slanted oddly so the front of the seat is higher than the back of the seat which irritates my back … I wanted it to be more even so the wedge cushion made by Clever Yellow works well enough, and is available on Amazon.The second is this cushion to support my lumbar region. I like it because it has a convex (rather than concave) shape… most lumbar support cushions seem to be concave and that tends to bother my back. This cushion was one of the only convex cushions I could find and I love it!! When I first sat back on it I felt the relief up my spine/back and felt like I was entering a transcendent state. It really was that helpful to me. I also like it because it’s taller than most, just the right amount of firmness for me, very thick, has a removable cover, and really supports the length of my back (taller cushion than most).I tried this cushion on a variety of different couches and chairs in addition to my car seat and it worked well on most of them. It was only a bit too thick on one, for me … a traditional, rolling office chair. It felt like I was falling off the chair a bit because of it at first, although I adjusted it and it was ok. I don’t tend to need a cushion on that chair anyway because it offers adequate lumbar support. It *is* a thick pillow. So that is something to consider when purchasing. It pushes me forward a bit in my car seat, which I actually like (I just put my seat back), but that may be an issue for some people. To me, because it is thick, it is also firm. I can sink back and still feel very supported. The cushion doesn’t get flattened out like some.I also tried another lumbar cushion by NurtureSoft but it was more concave shaped than I thought it would be from the pictures and it was not as thick or as firm. It didn’t work out for me but it got very good reviews so it may work better for you! It was roughly the same dimensions of this one I think, but rather than being taller (vertically), it’s wider (horizontally). I wanted and needed more support up the length of my spine. Someone else might want/need more support on the sides. That could help determine which one you choose. Plus your height/torso length! So it may take a little trial and error to find the right one. Luckily, the Xtreme Comforts cushion was my first choice and ended up being my favorite! :)Some other things that have helped my back, that might help you too …* The book Freedom from Pain by Peter Levine. I can’t write much about this one yet, as I just received it today, but I’m looking forward to reading it. I’ve been doing Trauma/Tension Release Exercises (TRE) multiple times a day and they have really really helped me (along with gradually increasing the distance of my walks), so I’m optimistic about learning about other exercises in the book!* Also planning on buying insoles and new shoes, as well as do Network Spinal Analysis at the chiropractor (a very gentle approach … traditional chiropractor tends to trigger my body and make the bracing worse). I’m hoping the chiropractor might be able to suggest insoles/shoes and posture-correction apparel as well.A month ago I was unable to move because of my back pain. It’s gotten much better and I have Faith it will continue to do so! Grateful for these supportive products to help me function better along the way!! With this cushion, I’m able to drive on 12 hour, 700 km roadtrips as a solo driver in my family. It has the right blend of firmness and softness and the anti-skid material on the bottom prevents the cushion from sliding off when I get into the car or off it.Over my usage period of half a decade, the cushion has held its quality and still feels new, minus probably a bit of inevtiable compression losses to the foam material.

When this arrived rolled up like a swiss roll I thought ‘If this can be rolled that tight its not going to provide much support’ & I wasn’t wrong – very thin cheap foam cushion being sold as supportive. If I could give this ZEROSTARS I would & for the price it’s an absolute rip off!! As a wheelchair user I’m fed up with this cheap unsupportive foam rubbish being sold as something comfortable to sit on or providing any kind of support or relief from seating discomfort!!
