Love it
Great blanket. Keeps warmth very well, but wonât make you too hot most of the time. The color is nice. It really helps me get to sleep because it weighs more, something about it really gets me to sleep faster and increases the quality of my sleep, although sometimes when Iâm half-awake it can be annoying manipulating it because of how heavy it is. Not sure how it will do as far as wash ability, but Iâve heard it can be a nightmare, havenât had to wash it yet though, itâs more of a top-blanket. It performs very well for sleep.

Ordered this for my daughter who wanted a weighted blanket. We ordered the 40×60 that was 10 pounds in gray. She is 5â2 & 100 pounds. The material is every soft and the quality is good. Feels more like a comforter material than a blanket. She likes to lay the weighted blanket on top of another softer blanket. Great price to try a weighted blanket out. I myself even liked 10 pound weight as an adult at 5â3 and 160 pounds. I feel like the 15-17 pounds would be very heavy. I guess it just depends on what you need it for or how your going to use it. I canât wait to try it out in winter myself. I would definitely recommend.

It’s not cooling
Knocked one star because it is definitely not cooling. Otherwise, it is as described. I’ve only been using it for little over a week but it has helped with my sleep. It’s VERY heavy. I tend to move in my sleep so I will wake up feeling liked I was working out as my muscles had to work against the weight of the blanket. I don’t mind because the sleep quality is great. I slumber these days.

This blanket was very useful and I loved it. It helped me sleep better. It felt like someone was holding me so it helped my anxiety. This blanket is comfortable and it has good temperature so not too hot. It looks cute on my bed as well. I got the 48âx72â|15 pounds and It fits well on me and covers me and Iâm 5â7 but I should have got a heavier one but overall itâs good!

Calming blanket for my daughter
I bought this blanket as a calming blanket for my 7 year old. She has restless sleep/leg syndrome and this was just the amount of proper weight distribution she needed to feel comfortable. She loves using it as it is not too hot or heavy for her. Her sleep pattern has improved significantly.

This weighted blanket really does help me fall asleep much faster and I find Iâm able to sleep through the night with it. But, I wake up drenched in sweat. I read that it was cooling, but thatâs definitely not the case. Iâm not sure Iâll be able to use it during the summer months. Itâs also really difficult to get into a duvet cover. But, Iâm amazed at how quickly I fall asleep and how long I stay asleep since getting it. I just wish it wasnât so hot.

All the threads that go from one side to the other, are not secured once they get to the perimeter. Consequently within 3 months the threads have come loose about 3 inches towards the center of the blanket. My friend is a seamstress and says that all the stitching has to be re done. Major job by hand with all those beads to deal with. It is now going to the landfil. 15 lbs of landfil. DO NOT BUY. And I wonder how many washing machines got broken by the glass beads breaking free when the threads let go. I have not washed mine.
