    Very Straightforward and Easy to Use
    Ordering was easy. We called to activate the device/account. The number and details are on the box. It was pretty straight forward. The device is small enough and just what we were looking for. The customer service rep walked us through a live test and it was nice to see how easy the whole process is. I asked and they don’t charge any extra fees for tests, emergency calls or even cancelling. Keep in mind there is a monthly fee but it covers full monitoring and caregiver tracking app which is a nice feature as well.

    Easy to set up & use
    I ordered this for a family member. You do have to call to activate but it’s so easy and the customer service was friendly and easy to understand. We got to set up a custom emergency call list, which gave us peace of mind. They also walk you through a live test to make sure you see how it works. No emergency so far (thankfully) but at least we have something in place just in case.

    Can’t seem to activate
    I’ve been trying to activate the unit, but no one ever picks up, really frustrating!

    Expensive
    I knew it was a monthly fee of $29.99 but the whole reason I got this item was because it had fall detection, and my Dad recently fell and was on the floor waiting for over 30 mins for my brother to get there to help him up. But you have to pay an extra $9.99 for fall detection! Further more, if you buy in 6 month or 12 month bundles, there’s no discount what so ever. So ok never mind! Now I’m returning it. Shouldn’t be that expensive to hit a panic button for an elderly person!

    Has everything you are looking for
    My dad has had something like this before, but it only called directly to 911. We needed wanted a service that communicated with family. This device and service is exactly what we were looking for. We can customize the emergency call list and it comes with caregiver tracking in their app. Dad hasn’t had an emergency (thank goodness!), but I can still check the app for his location. There is a monthly service cost, but it’s totally worth it for the full monitoring and caregiver tracking.

    Ease of use
    This was my first time shopping for a system for my elderly parent. The instructions that were provided in the product description is what sold me. It showed me the steps setting up the system BEFORE I even needed to purchase. This to me is important, things that are overly complicated or extra steps that I wasn’t aware of can be a huge turn off. We got it set up and activated(very easy) and my dad has been using it for a few days now with no issues. Thank you Bay Alarm Medical!

    Piece of mind!
    Activation went smoothly. They provided all the details, got everything set up for me, and answered all my concerns, which is nice as we have never used something like this. They even did a live test with us, so my mom knew what to do & expect during an emergency. I was hesitant at first to get something like this, but their customer service eased my mind.

    Worked well…to start with
    Although I had been pleased with the unit to start with, I found that it had stopped working suddenly. I tried to check functionality on my cell phone but recorded message stated that the cell signal was not available. My computer measured a download speed of 200 Mgps, so that was silly. Our phones were working. I reset the password and reinstalled the app on my phone. Restarted the phone. Nothing. I finally got a response on the unit and assured that I was testing. It confirmed the testing status. Site on phone still not working. I finally searched the website on my computer and found a way to download the app to my phone, which did the trick. In the meantime, local dispatch called and a local ambulance member showed up at the door. Really not too sure i want to keep this unit for 45.00 per month right now.
