PROTECTIVE SKIN-BARRIER SPRAY: SKIN-PREP Spray forms a film designed to protect intact skin. When applied, it forms a barrier that acts as a protective interface between the skin and bodily wastes, fluids, adhesive dressings, drainage tubes, and surrounding ostomy sites.
EASY TO APPLY & CARRY: This convenient spray makes it easy to travel with and to apply a topical barrier that helps protect skin from adhesive trauma or incontinence-related dermatitis. Use it on knees, heels, elbows, and other areas of the body that are at risk of irritation due to friction damage.
EFFECTIVE PROTECTION BETWEEN TAPE & SKIN: The barrier created by the spray helps prepare intact skin for attachment sites, tapes, films, and any adhesive dressings that you use on a daily basis. Removal of SKIN-PREP isn’t necessary before reapplication.
HOW TO USE: Wash the affected skin area, rinse, and allow to dry thoroughly. Hold the bottle approximately 8″ from skin, spray lightly and allow to dry, then spray a second light coat. SKIN-PREP may be removed with soap and water. Do not spray on, or apply directly to, open wounds or mucous membranes.

This is the better skin prep of the two types
I bought this one and the no-sting version. And this one is definitely better. Pads stick better to me and leave less residue, while the no-sting leaves a trail of adhesive residue. Both of them stink pretty bad though. But my skin has been doing so much better using this for my 30 day heart monitor study I’m doing. I did still have to swap to a different pad that was more hypoallergenic.I’m so thankful for this product. It was like night and day, when I started using this. I can wear the pad for about 21 hours without any agitation to my skin, I let my skin rest for like 2 or 3 hours and then put the spray on and then the pads to start the monitor for the day with no skin issues. (:I even used it for my recent surgery and the staff was VERY accommodating about using it so they could use tape on my skin. And for the first time ever, I’ve left a surgery without blisters on my skin. It’s amazing.

Works for sensitive skin
Partner required bandages for several months and the frequent removal was irritating the skin. This product does help but needs a little time to dry otherwise itâs sticky. Not easy to remove between applications

Great skin protection
The skin prep works very very well. It’s so much easier to have it in a spray bottle as opposed to the small wipes that tend to dry out. This stuff provides a good layer of protection and also can help bandages stick better and stay on longer.

3D printing adhesive
We bought this to use for our 3D printer bed to help prints adhere and it’s awesome! So much cleaner than glue sticks and easier to use than the individual wipes. I highly recommend it.

Ostomy spray
My Ostomy pouches stay on much better

It works for its purpose, but it’s hard to use for Urostomy adhesion/protection.
It’s a small bottle, but that’s not a huge deal. And, it does work very well for its intended purpose of protecting the skin and aiding in adhesion. However, I found it very difficult to spray around my stoma without spraying it onto the stoma because it has a wide spray angle. I had to use one hand to hold a cover against my stoma and the other to aim the spray. It was awkward at best, but a system could be developed. I do think the pre-moistened sponges or wipes are better than a spray for stoma care.
