    Sturdy and easy to clean
After my husband’s 2nd shoulder replacement surgery (and with bad knees too), purchased this for his showers. Fit the tub great and was easy for him to maneuver in and out. Did have to take shower doors off of our tub to use. Also just layed down 3 towels around the outside and was really easy to clean up after showers. Like that it’s reversible and easy to assemble, disassemble and adjust the height.

    Multi Use Shower/Bath Chair
I’m in my 70s, handicapped (need walker) and must sit to bathe or shower. This Transfer Chair let’s me wash in my shower stall or bathtub with ease. Its universal design accommodates both bathtubs and shower stalls 36 inches deep. It’s water and rust proof and uses plastics and aluminum. For bathtubs, half the Chair sits outside tub and other in the tub. I just sit on the outside part and pull legs over tub wall and slide over into tub. For showers, the whole thing fits inside. It’s expert, ergonomic design is sturdy and convenient to use with height adjustment legs. There’s a handle on one side that helps to lean on for sitting down and getting up. And a backrest that can switch to either side of the spacious seat. I use the backrest to also lean on for up/down/twist movements. Unconfining and very easy and roomy to move around and wash up.I previously used a shower stool with lifting handles to aid me in sitting and getting up. But these stools were too narrow and confining to wash up in. Now I’m very comfortable and get into and out of my shower with ease.Another great feature is the suction cup feet on one end of the open Chair. This stabilizes the chair and prevents its shifting when getting up or sitting down. The chair’s only lacking feature is a soft gripper sleeve over the lifting handle to prevent hand slippage. But I manage by placing my washcloth there.

This has really served the purpose. Cost was reasonable. Product is sturdy and easy to assemble.

You will want to take more than 2 baths daily!
This is a heavy duty (400 lbs) transfer bench. It is wonderful. It is so stable that it is like sitting directly in the bathtub…only…the seat is not in the tub. There is one stability bar and the stable seat back with ‘humongous’ suction cups on the inner legs. The outer transfer seat is fixed in place, but easily overcome by using a hand-towel under the client needing this type of support and work. Once the client is sitting on the outward seat, they can rotate their legs and feet into the tub space using the stability bars as needed. Once on the wash part of the bench, a shower curtain may be used with the bottom folded to channel water back into the tub.

    My choice
This is a nice shower chair. The suction cups work really well, it is very adjustable for your needs, light weight and easy to move back rest and handle bar around. The price is about what is cost at our local pharmacy and I didn’t have to haul it home. It didn’t work in my shower stall because of the built in seats but worked great for the tub/ shower. Didn’t have any problems with it being slick on the seat or mildew issues.

    Solid. Safe.
I bought one of these to replace an old one (brand?) which had begun to fail. This one is EASY to put together…NO TOOLS necessary. Rated for 400 lbs…I am 230 and this is SOLID. Safe. Buy this without worrying about it collapsing on you in the shower. Unless you weigh 500 lbs or more, that is.

    Works great!
My mom has a bad knee and needs this in order to get in the shower. It works great! The suction cups stick to the shower so that it doesn’t wobble and she says it’s very comfortable as well. Light and easy to move, easy to clean. We love it!

I had previously purchased a smaller shower chair and I felt so scared to use it. I saw this one and decided to try it out as I have a broken ankle. It was so simple to put together, and it fits over my very deep soaker tub wall no problem! The suction cups that go into the tub are very strong and sturdy. I can’t even say how grateful I was once I used this as I feel I gained back a large part of my independence. The seat backing can go on either side, and the rail is sturdy enough to use to pull yourself back onto the bench. I would buy this again in heartbeat! It has a weight limit of 400 lbs!

I really like the ease of the design you can assemble it by simply clicking the pieces together. It’s best suited for a large bath, it takes up a lot of space in our bathtub but it’s versatile and helps my mom get in and out of the shower. The overhang is helpful when my mom needs to sit to comb her hair or take a breather.

I got this as a gift for my uncle, he’s been using the shower chair for several months now and is extremely happy with the purchase he finds the chair to be very sturdy, it stays in place and makes his showers a pleasure to take again. No more dealing with chairs falling apart. Thanks for a shower chair that I would recommend to anyone seeking a reliable quality chair.

Sturdy but I have no clue how this is supposed to function in a normal bath tub without flooding your bathroom. Due to flared leg design and handle, almost 50% of the seat and yourself end up being outside the tub and you’re not able to sit under a normal shower head spray. For sponge bath this may work but I returned it for a small stool and handle combo.

Was looking for an affordable transfer bench, others were 50-80% more expensive. Had no problem with the assembly, legs are very adjustable, the suction feet are very strong, the molded plastic seat is just as good as higher priced items that I have seen. My elderly father is very satisfied with this purchase.
