    Very sturdy and comfortable.
It came almost completely put together. Well made.

    Great fit.
Had surgery on a fractured femur & hated the hospital commodes. This fit perfectly for me from the extremely sturdy frame & padded seat to the deep well bucket reducing splashback. The fold down arms are also perfect for transferring to & from my bed or wheelchair. It was also a sinch to assemble & adjust even with my limited movement.

    Great product.
The absolutely only thing that I don’t like is the padded seat. Now don’t get me wrong, it is very comfortable to sit on, and the seat is warm as opposed to a cold hard plastic seat. But always having to sanitize the padded seat leaves a lot to be desired but it can’t be helped. There is a metal shelf that the seat rests on and it was rusty looking from the very first and it stays rusty and very unsightly, it’s hard to tell if you have Fecal matter on it so I am continually cleaning it and the rust comes off onto the cleaning cloth so you can never tell if it’s clean enough. That’s only one of the bad things about this chair. You have to remove the complete toilet seat and lid of your toilet in order to use this chair. And that makes the toilet unusable for men and women if they want to use the regular toilet to sit on. I wasn’t expecting that. The toilet chair did not sit on the toilet well if the back of the chair was left on so we have to use it without the back. But having access to lowering the arms has been very helpful. My 94 year old mother was scraping her hand and left it bleeding when using other chairs and if she leaves these handles up then she has a little problem with hand placement when she is trying to cleanse herself. But having the arms down frees up her moving space while sitting on the seat. This chair is very heave and not easy to lift unless it’s by someone with a sturdy build. But having said all of this I would definitely buy this chair again. It is very useful by having the ability to lower the handles. Yes it’s been a good buy even tho I’ve complained about a few things.

    Good heavy potty chair
We have a lighter chair that is easier to move around, but it would scoot across the floor when Mom tried to stand up. So I looked around for something else, and found this. Be warned, it is heavy. Mom is not able to move it, it stays in place when she stands up, which was the main reason for trying it. However, the bucket fits on two long rods, and is not fixed in one place. This means if the bucket is not in just the right position, accidents happen. The rim of the bucket hardly covers the rods, so if the bucket were to ever become warped in the least, it will not stay on. I’m not sure why it was designed this way, because the rest of the chair seems well built. The drop arm can be convenient, and the padded seat seems comfortable.

    Nice Product. Terrible Delivery
In this case the product did not fail. The choice of delivery service failed. Definitely purchase this item. It is a step up from other portable potties. But, jeez! Do not believe the “next day delivery” promise. Living at the same address for exactly 60 years, the delivery service was unable to deliver the box because, really, they were too lazy to try. Instead, we were told they attempted delivery, but no one answered the door “to sign for the package.” Our security cameras say BS. I had to drive to the delivery facility…twice…to pick up the item. This is really a message to the seller, not you buyers. The product is really good. Buy it. Just don’t expect it tomorrow.

Needs quality control; good customer service
LIKE: padding comfortable, drop arms convenient, feels sturdy; would recommendDISLIKE: Designed to be easy to assemble but was difficult because of lack of quality control- pre-drilled holes not aligned (seat attachment) and leg piece height adjust buttons also did not align, required both twisting and forcing to assemble. Bale handle for bucket is unnecessary and misleading (it comes off unexpectedly).FYI it helps to pull something over the seat so skin doesn’t stick to it; I used a cover designed for regular bathroom toilet seats, and cut it in half. Also, always check arms are locked in place, they can look right without being lockedUPDATE: I’m upping my rating from 3 to 5 stars because of the Medline customer service. Medline responded quickly to my email inquiry about returning the unit by sending a new unit, almost completely pre-assembled (it has minor quality issues). The company provided a label so I could return the original purchase without paying postage. Replacement unit is working great.

This is fine for an elderly woman to use.
This commode is well built, very sturdy and strong! The bucket system that comes with it is pretty lacking, though. The top of the little circular bucket is smaller than the opening of the commode seat, and the splash guard that comes with it does nothing to stop urine from splashing over the front of the commode or the bucket either. If a man is using it, there should be some kind of above the seat moveable splash guard. I replaced the little blue bucket and it’s little blue splash guard with a much taller pail and it has a wider circumference. I found it in the paint section of the local hardware store. It still doesn’t stop urine from spraying over the outside front of the bucket and the opening of the seat, but ours is resting on a large rubber mat with a slightly raised edge. Clean up is not so difficult then. The padded seat is comfortable and very sturdy. It’s also easy to clean. Truthfully this commode is so sturdy and adjustable height-wise, as well as the seat back and arms, that I remove the back of the chair and put the rest of the commode (without the bucket) in the shower for my husband to use. He’s very unsteady and this works well, especially when trying to clean his more private areas with the shower sprayer. I’m glad I bought it for him regardless of bucket drawbacks.

    Standing Raised “Toilet Seat”
This is a great product, sturdy/steady and well designed with supporting arms. Unfortunately we had to return this product because the design of our wall hung toilet does not accommodate this product.

This is the only commode I haven’t had to add padding to. It’s easy to assemble. The only downside is how difficult it is to drag it across the floor. Would love to have optional wheels/breaks so grandpa can zoom around his room.

Good quality, it works great. My mother is happy with it.

    Very comfortable seat.

Very sturdy construction. Seat works well. Would have liked to seen a pot cover that was integrated with the seat. Commodes are used by people with restricted movement and may be unable to remove a pot cover, place it somewhere, then pick it up and replace it.
