I NEVER THOUGHT THAT THE DAY WOULD COME WHEN I WOULD USE THIS KOSIN SAFE SOUND PERSONAL ALARM!!!!!!
 My husband purchased this COSIN SOUND ALARM product in SEPTEMBER 2019 for our personal use since we both travel a lot, locally and internationally. In fact, I have almost forgotten about this gadget until it worked its function today, this early morning of JULY 25, 2020, Saturday. You would think that it is just a tiny thing, but boy it was so loud and very powerful! It gave us the security we badly needed at the time we needed it most!BACKGROUND INFO:1. We were at home sleeping soundly when suddenly our motion sensor at our fire escape went on. The music alarm was loud it woke us up. So, we got out of bed. Checked our security camera from our iPads.2. Yes, there was an intruder downstairs. There was a car that pulled into our alley!3. At 2 AM, the heart San Francisco where we live was still very much asleep and quiet.4. In our security camera, it showed that a white car stopped right in front of our fire escape that leads to our veranda which leads inside our domicile.5. FYI, the fire escape ladder is fixed on the floor level. Very inviting to the bad elements. This is why it was imperative that we had the security system installed.6. The car was there, canvasing our place. Across us is an office building and the other buildings within the alley is residential. With all buildings’ security lights being on didn’t scare off this white car/intruder/s.7. As the time moved on, my husband and I were in tandem. We did our protocol.8. I grabbed my KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm and pulled out the lock and bingo! The loud sound went off!9. I ran fast to the veranda and placed the KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm out there. Then, watched the car downstairs…what would the intruder/s do?10. Suddenly, I saw the white car backing off as fast as the driver could! The KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm sound was way so loud that they/he/she heard it quite well, despite of the fact that the car was closed and the windows as well. So this shows and proves on how powerful and loud this KOSIN Safe Sound Personal Alarm is!11. That did the trick!EPILOGUE:Who would think that such a tiny object could work its wonder?Honestly, I never thought that a day would come when this gadget would be so handy and useful to me and my husband. And that has proven me right today! I hope that I would have no use for it in the future. Bought a pack of five. Enough for the whole family. Great price! Love the different colors. And they are very loud! Thats a good thing.

Safety Measure
Colors are true to picture. The reason I docked a star is due to 1/3 of them not working. The ones that do work? LOUD and IMPACTFUL. Small trigger piece, that pulls then back in, can be tricky to get back in when the sound is that alarming and distracting. But, hey! That’s what it’s supposed to do besides alert attention to unsafe situations. I would get the set if you’re trying to gift to kids or even if you want extra on standby. The little flashlight is nice too.

Totally must for taking kids out to crowded places.
I’ve never had to worry about my kids being taken but must have for going to the zoo, museum or parks. High pitch is clear the hear thru just about any amount of noise and everyone turns their head towards it. Hasn’t died yet and they’ve mostly used it for a flashlight. Gave one to each of my daughters, sisters and even my aunt. Just don’t drop the string or lose it after pulling because it gets annoying fast if no one is being kidnapped.

Great simple protection alarm for the family
This is a great set of personal alarm keychains. It comes in many colors: give one to each person in the family or leave a couple in different vehicles. The alarm is quite loud and definitely would scare off a potential negative situation/person, a dog, wild animals, or to get someone’s attention should you fall or need help. The added LED light is a nice added touch. I did take the advice of another reviewer on here (Thank you very much!) and looped the handle into the key ring just to avoid unnecessary pulling out of the pin. While that has not happened, I did think that was a very smart solution. That as well as some pepper spray makes me feel that my college daughter at least has a little bit of protection on her while she is at school. For the price, you can’t beat it!

A handful of safety
Personal safety has become more and more at issue. Taking reasonable precautions where and whenever you can is a realistic thing we need to consider. These small alarms pack a BIG sound and can make a bad situation better. I bought a package of them to give to some of my close gal pals. Each lady was enthusiastic and appreciative. We briefly chatted about circumstances where problems might occur and how to use these little alarms if needed. Because of the size and shape of this Personal Alarm it can fit just about anywhere. Purse, pocket, backpack, in your vehicle, or even in your hand just names a few. I plan on getting more for other friends as well as for myself so they are always accessible to me in a variety of locations. I don’t want to become house bound because of fear so being prepared for circumstances that are beyond my control is a healthy action I choose to take while I’m out living life. I wish you all a safe and happy life.

Very effective but not long term
They served well for the intended purpose. I bought them for my daughter and her friend who were going to a concert. We stayed at a hotel a couple blocks from the concert. Obviously they could not bring pepper spray or any other protective device into the arena so I bought these so at least they could get someone’s attention. They were very loud easy to use but not so easy as to set off accidentally. However after going off once or twice (after the concert was over and we were back home they played with them) they wouldn’t really work and one got dropped in a puddle and wouldn’t work. So not a long term solution
