Works great

Work as advertised.
Work well, with just a little arm strength. Able to get good leverage, even on lids with few or no ridges.

Older personâs treasure
Works great, saves unnecessary strain to fingers and hands. No more tapping lids of glass jars hoping to break the seal.

Works well with thin lids
This kitchen gadget is a great idea for us elderly folks with bad arthritis, our hands and fingers arenât strong. We have trouble opening jars and water bottles a lot of times. Now, this jar opener is good with thin lid jarsâ¦.the clasps are not wide enough for thicker lids. I wish there is a way to extend the clasps. I really like the gripper pads that came with it.

Very helpful
I got this because I am beginning to get arthritis in my hands and I really like pickles. Now I sometimes struggle with jars. Unfortunately, my hubby is not always available to assist me. This one is very similar to the one my grandparents used to have when I was a kid, so it was very familiar to me. This was easy to use and worked well. I found that putting one of the rubber grippers beneath the jar was very helpful.

Find a better option.
Does not work well. I’ve had it puncture one metal jar lid and slip while trying to loosen other lids. Don’t let it fool you as it did me. A waste of money and just another piece of junk taking up space in the drawer.
