Ease of use

Much more sturdy than expected
We bought this to help my wife get in and out of bed following surgery. Initially I was looking for one with legs that went down to the ground for extra stability, but could not find one short enough for our bed and so I settled on this one. I was expecting to have to tie or screw this to the bed frame for stability, but found I didn’t need to do this. The weight of the mattress and the depth to which the equipment extends under the mattress means that this has not moved an inch since we first installed it. The two handles give a lot of options for getting in and out of bed and it works perfectly for my wife. We are delighted with it.

Sturdy, effective bedside
We have a King bed and needed beds more for assisting or pulling up out of bed than protection from falling. This bedside slides well and deep under the mattress and does the job. It moves a bit after several uses but not enough to be ineffective. We found it safe and utilitarian. It actually has a small cloth pouch where you can insert a remote, eye glasses, kleenex or any smaller article. There is a R or L assist handle which is a nice option. Assembly was easy and directions good.

Perfect for our needs
This rail was simple to put together with no need for tools. The directions were easy to follow. I bought this for my elderly husband who had fallen out of bed and also was having problems getting out of a lying position. This fit the bill perfectly and he uses the pouch for a small flashlight, glasses and other small items. We did not use the strap because we have a very heavy mattress and it stays perfectly in place. The cushioned handrail is an added plus. Worth every penny.

Game changer in 5 minutes
This rail works great. My mom fell and broke her arm and was afraid of falling out of bed after her fall, and spending months in a hospital bed. I found this rail, and it works perfectly. The piece that slides under the mattress is long and flat, and fits underneath without being noticed that it’s even there. The little bag that comes with it is nice to put things in (her kleenex and call button). The handle is sturdy and can be put on either side, depending on where you’re putting it. It is also sturdy enough to hold onto when getting out of bed. Even though it isn’t very long (which is good for getting in and out of bed), it provides a good barrier for the upper body.

This was a life saver
I recently had back surgery for the second time and I only wished I had it for the first surgery. The hardest part is getting in and out of bed, as well as repositioning. This was very sturdy, never moved when I used it and make it so much easier to log roll in bed and push myself to sit up in bed.I really liked that it had a pouch on the side. I was able to put my phone and a few other things in there. There was no way I would be able to roll/twist to get items off of my nightstand, so that pouch was convenient to have.I’m 7 weeks post op and still use it to help me stand up. I would definitely recommend this product.

Using it to keep my 97 yo Mother from falling out of bed. When assembling make sure you think which side you’re putting it in as you can do it either way. Having a drill with Allen bit was handy for single handed assembly. It comes with an Allen Wrench but it’s small and tightening up the 2 big screws is a slow job. Otherwise assembly was fairly easy and they give you 2 sets of the screws and clips, just in case.
