I do ridesharing on the side and or days off. My car has heated seats, I could feel the wiring and was hurting my arse. I bought a different brand and it worked for a bought a year, before buying a pillow and putting it on top of the seat cushion out of desperation.I searched for something better than what I had and came across this brand. I thought wow who better to know what a person needs than someone who’s already is a seated postion/wheel chair. I bought both the memory foam and cooling gel cushions to test out which would be better for my needs. My friend was over when the gel on arrived and he was telling me how he’s been in extreme discomfort by his tailbone doing ride share. So I let him have the gel one and I used the memory foam one when it arrived 2days later.I bought it in the middle of summet and the memory foam is just that, no support and made me hotter sitting it in on hot days. Tried it for about 10days and had to return it. I asked my friend how his was and he was raving. His butt don’t hurt anymore, he can driving wo having to adjust and or worry about the pain, and thanked me for it. I returned my memory foam for the gel and couldn’t be happier. Been using it for at least 3-4 months and it been a pleasure. I don’t dread getting into my car anymore. I like that cool feeling when I first sit, that it doesn’t heat up from driving for hours. Love that it’s thick, I’m small 5’2, so it may not work for a tall person in their car (mini van yes) 250lbs, and it holds it shape and durability! This a a must have for anyone who drives for a living, car/van/truck, DEFINITELY worth its price so you can concentrate on driving and know you won’t feel all twisted up/stiff when you get out of your vehicle.

One size does not fit all
This thing is HUGE. I get it, it’s for a wheelchair but the opeing for the tailbone is so far back and for a petite woman like myself, it’s UNUSEABLE. Not everyone is the same. My bad for not thinking about size of cushion. Now I’m stuck with it and it offers no relief since my rear end couldn’t get anywhere close to the part needed.

I got this for my mother who is wheelchair bound. She spends the majority of her time sitting so bed sores are a big concern. This is much more comfortable and cooler than the traditional wheelchair cushions. Does the job!

This company makes two cushions in this style and I have both styles. The difference between the two models is this one is a touch firmer and it has the water barrier layer as well as the strap to attach it to a chair.The design, width, shape of the hole and the tapered front are exactly the same on both cushions. The non wheelchair model is a bit softer, but not to it’s detriment, and it tends to be a bit warmer even though they both have gel coating.I highly recommend this cushion. Compared to other company’s products they’re heads above. These cushions have a noticable heft to them denoting the quality of the memory foam, perfect firmness, and proper dimensions unlike many others that cost much more and leave you teetering and hanging off the edges.I don’t understand making a cushion 14 inches wide and 12 inches deep unless you’re cutting corners and cheaping out.No adult can possibly fit on that size. These are 18×16. Perfect dimensions.Nice width on the hole and the tapered front including the width and depth makes these the best cushions on the market. They’re also the best price. Why pay more for less?Some of these other companies should look at these reviews and their product because this is the way to do it.I highly recommend this company and their products.
