I needed help with installation, but since then it has exceeded expectations. Attractive and very sturdy. We detach the rail and tuck it under the bed during the day.

You need to be able to use a power drill
The reason I purchased this is as other reviewers mentioned this is the only bed rail the seller describes able to install on an adjustable bed. Well, it is true you can install it on an adjustable bed. Yes, we did it. But it was not easy. It took us a while to decide where we can drill holes onto adjustable bed. We watched the linked video but the video doesnât show anything about the drilling holes to securely attach the bed rail with long but not too long screws.

Well built and easy for care aids to use. Almost nothing to get in the way getting in and out of bed
I was VERY happily surprised with the sturdiness of these bed rails. The one button release makes it very easy for the Home Care Aids to use. Once you take off the rails there is only a little upright bar on the side of the bed. This makes it very easy and clear to get in an out of the bed.I used 2 on one side of an adjustable bed. The platform for the bed is made up of various sized wood(?) articulated sections under cloth. The screws that came with it did not securely anchor the rails since I think the platform is more of a composite and not regular wood. I used some #6 bolts, washers, and nuts and it is now extremely secure.Since there was two different angles that each arm support could be set up, it could be installed on one of the smaller sections.

hard to assemble as some screws are so hard to loosen. it’s not as sturdy as it should be. i’m using this on a twin size adjustable bed, it should be super solid but it isn’t.

Works with adjustable base but…….
I had to drill some extra holes in the bracket that attaches to the base because some of the premade holes were right over some hardware underneath my base that operates the bed. It would have been nice if the manufacture would have provided some optional holes in their bracket to accommodate for this situation. Also these brackets could have been a little longer so as to make that modification possible. One other complaint is the written installation directions were a little hard to follow. They need two separate set of directions, one for adjustable bases and one for standard beds. They had them both together which was a little confusing. Otherwise i really like these rails. They seem to be well made and very sturdy. I really like the design as it isn’t so long as to make getting in and out of bed a chore.

Not Sturdy
Once you put the 3 pages together, the instructions were easy, until it gets to attaching the rail to the bed. Can’t screw into the adjustable frame because it is metal. Zero instructions for attaching the strap. It is utterly useless due the absolute lack of stability.

Keeps Mom Safe
We have another bar in Mom’s bed to help her with getting in and out but needed something extra to help keep her legs in bed during the night. This is a perfect solution as the bar section lifts off and is easily stored in the closet during the day but offers the extra safety Mom needs during the night. Extends beautifully to keep her safe. Expensive but worth the cost.
