    Sturdy
Does what it is designed to do. Had hip surgery and this has absolutely helped with not having to sit all the way down on the toilet. Adjusted to my height easily.

    Toilet seat
I’m hesitant to give this a seal of approval for seniors since it just hovers about the toilet and isn’t attached to it in anyway. I would suppose it would depend on the level of disability of the user. As long as you can use both arms to stabilize yourself when getting up, no problem. Leaning to hard on just one side would cause it to tip. It was simple to assemble for a younger person. It is still holding up strong for about 3 months now. Easy to clean.

  3. My 2 cents

Adjustable width. Adjustable height goes lower than our other one. Excellent instructions.
This is the second raised toilet seat I’ve put together. The main difference with this one (I like them both and they both have their advantages) is that the width is adjustable. This one had even better instructions and I found it very easy to assemble. No tools are needed and there’s a bag of spare hardware (wasn’t needed, but always appreciated). The padded seat is comfortable, and it flips for cleaning. The height is adjustable, and this one goes lower than our other one so if you are shorter this might be the better option, but both work for our situation. (For taller people our other chair might be the better choice). The storage pouch is a nice extra, but I’m not a fan of the pouch looping around the top rail where your hands grip. However, we don’t plan on using the pouch, so it’s not an issue. The feel of the hand grips is excellent, but I slightly prefer the ones on our other chair because they extend lower down in the front. This seat comes with just one set of feet (our other one came with similar feet and a set of more substantial suction cup feet), but these less substantial feet are the ones we currently choose to use so this works for us.These chairs vary in how high and low they go as well as how much weight they will support, so if this chair meets your requirements I would recommend, especially if you want the adjustable width and extremely clear directions. Made in China.

    Nice, solid raised toilet seat
This raised toilet seat chair is solid and sturdy. In addition to being relatively wobble-free, the seat and even the arms are padded, making it comfortable to use. As a toilet safety frame, the arms provide great assistance in sitting down and getting back up. The toilet seat is positioned very close to the bathroom commode or can be positioned higher to make sitting down and getting up much easier. Since the frame is not connected to the toilet itself, installation was very, very easy. Put the frame together (takes just a few minutes), attach the seat, and place in position around the toilet.Overall, a nice comfortable commode seat.

    Nice and solid!
This is good solid safety equipment! It was easy to put together (though I got in a bit of a hurry, and smashed my thumb – my fault) – just be sure to read the directions. They warn you that they have a good-sized plastic insert between the handrail portion and the tube it connects to (that keeps it from wiggling, and gives stability). So take a few extra seconds to properly put that together (and keep your fingers safe).I was able to put it together in about 15 minutes. This isn’t a small piece of equipment, so take measurements if you have a small bathroom. Ours is tiny, but I was very pleased to see that when on the skinniest width, it fit into our bathroom. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with the toilet paper roll, but the stability this gives in the bathroom is worth it. This baby is solid – and good support for anyone needing it.

    Comfortable balance and support
The padding on the seat is soft and comfortable. The seat was easy to assemble. It was secure and stable once it was put together. The adjustable height allows it to accommodate a variety of different sized toilets, and it’s easy to adjust. It’s also easy to disassemble for storage and travel. It sits high enough above the rim of the toilet to make assisting with bowel care more accessible. The rubber feet keep the chair in place when using the handles to support the body when standing up. The handles really help with balance when siting down and standing up. The seat flips up and out of the way, and the vinyl/faux leather is easy to clean.

  7. Anita

    Sturdy
This raised seat appears to be nicely made. The cushioned seat is comfortable and lifts up for cleaning. It’s easy to assemble and has adjustable height. It is a little on the wide side so if you have a smaller bathroom, make sure there are a few inches available on either side of the toilet. It appears to work well in helping a person who is physically unstable on their feet. The arms are padded for extra comfort and grip. And the frame is nice and sturdy.

    Comfortable, Sturdy, Safe
I am recovering from surgery and this toilet seat riser enables me to be independent. The raised toilet seat and the handles make it very easy for me to transfer from my walker to and from the toilet by myself. It comes with a nice bag that can be attached with Velcro straps to the side of the toilet riser to store things. My toilet riser is on the most narrow setting, as shown in the photo. The toilet seat riser is very easy to keep clean, is lightweight, and easy to move for family/household members who do not want/need to use the toilet seat riser with handles. My husband put it together for me. He said that the directions mentions part labels, but the parts were not labeled so he matched them up with the photos in the directions.
