Good product, easy to take
I did notice some increased gas when I first started this product, but that’s the only side effect I’ve had from it. It arrived well labeled and sealed. This is from Jarrow, which is become my preferred brand in any supplement. I find that they have consistently high quality and good products. This is a loose powder in a standard supplement jar. It does come with a little scoop to get it out with. It tastes mildly sweet. When I put it in a bottle of water along with my normal water enhancer, I can’t ever taste it at all. It dissolves with a quick easy shake or swirl. I don’t ever have to use a spoon or anything to stir It. Usually I can leave the lid off my water and just swirl it around and it will dissolve. The product dissolves quickly and easily even in cold water. I find it very easy to take.

So far, this is a good product, the taste is not noticeable, it seems like it helps me with my digestion system. Recommend

Inulin
A friend of mine recommended it to me to serve my stomach and make things a little easier in the bathroom. All you do is mix a little with water and it definitely works. I do recommend it. You just need to be vigil with it. No taste at all.

Nice taste
Nice taste. My mind feels clearer since Iâve been using this product. It dissolves best with a little lukewarm water at first, then I add more water to drink.

Works well.
Start slow. It hits your system fast. I did a half scoop full for the first few days until used to it.

Good product, horrible packaging
The product itself seems fine but I’m looking for an alternative because the packaging is so bad. They give you a small 2″ scoop (which I only knew about from another review). But the bottle is like a vitamin bottle. So as you get to the bottom, unless you happen to have a 2 year old with small hands nearby you’ll have hard time scooping it out. Very poorly thought out.

The gut and brain connection
Recent clinical trials have shown an improvement in memory with daily intake of inulin and fructooligosaccharides. It’s too soon for me to know how well it is working, but Iâm all in. There are other benefits as well that you can find online.

Jarrow’s Inulin FOS (fructo-oligo-saccharide) works well as a prebiotic. Mildly sweet. Avoid taking too much initially as it can increase frequency of bowel movements and also generate more wind — both normal and expected reactions. 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon is good combined with a probiotic like Darolac, and chia or basil (sabja) seeds–both of which are prebiotics (feeding the good gut bacteria), and increasing fullness factors that potentially help balance over-eating. Inulin is an extract from chicory root which is extensively used in south Indian coffee blends like Bru. I am now taking a teaspoon plus of roasted chicory powder a day (obtainable from your local south Indian grocer in 100 gram packets) , and 1 – 2 teaspoons of chia or sabja seeds in water or a fruit shake made with coconut water or low fat almond milk. (Avoid taking prebiotics or probiotics with vitamin supplements to allow these to work better at feeding the good bugs!) There are some concerns with using inulin powder as it is said to contribute to a fatty liver.
