Works great!
My husband had a wreck in May of this year, he couldn’t get in the tub so I went on the search for a tub seat, this is the greatest purchase I’ve made for him, it slide from outside the tub to inside, and has helped us so much! It’s easy to use and very lightweight!

The best shower chair for mobility issues.
My mother has a lot of mobility issues and for her it hard to step in and out of shower. This product works great. Light weight but does hold weight. Quality is great. Chair moves side to side with ease. Easy to put together and take apart for storage.

Works pretty well.
Very helpful for moderately impaired people. Not so good for our use. We thought it might work for my wife to sit in the tub and then raise herself to the seat, thus enabling her to slide easily over the edge of the tub. She isn’t able to lift herself to the seat. It’s a personal problem. Most people can use it very well, I would think.

OVERALL A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY
I looked at many sliding transfer benches as we have a unique situation. Since the DMI unit is priced right on Amazon, and has a removable inner section, we decided on this one. SUPER easy to assemble, just read your instructions first. In photos and videos they show the handle on the outside of the tub, and the instructions say to put it inside the time, we went with inside. Easy to switch if you want. The only trouble we had was the corners of bathtubs are not flat, they are curved, so in order the the feet to sit flat, we had to pull the bench further to the outside of the tub. This caused a problem in that the whole seat is now not over the tub which keeps the patient from having their whole body inside the tub. Not sure if we can remedy that. I think most tubs have this same issue, maybe ours is narrower but it definitely caused a problem. But for the unit itself, I would give 5 stars for quality, price and design.

Great for elderly mom!
Elderly mom moved in with us and was having problems getting into the bath tub. This solved our problem. Great quality and now she can get in the bath easily!

Shower Access After Surgery… Easy Peasy
Only complaint… and I see another that addresses it… high tub wall fits fine under this frame… but shower curtain cant fall back inside tub… carefully folded and tucked, shower curtain DOES keep water off the floor… another has a set of ‘bends’ in the seat frame that lets the curtain ‘hang’… love that it ‘locks’ IN and OUT of tub area… makes set up… use… and dry off more stable… easy to clean and stores in tub for the next use… great solution to a short term problem…

Too bulky for my bathroom
This seat is sturdy, looks good but it’s just too big for my apartment bathroom. Even though the weight limit says 400lbs, the seat is not meant for a large backside. I could not lift the slide locking mechanism to unlock or lock without getting off the seat and standing in the tub. The shower wand holder was unable to be used when sitting on the seat. I had to try to hold my shower wand while also trying to shampoo my hair, not an easy task. Also there is no way to get the shower curtain around the seat inside the tub. I had to put towels on the floor to keep the floor dry so I wouldn’t slip stepping out of the tub. It would probably be good for someone who is smaller, has a large open shower, or a really large bathroom and bathtub. Oh, and maybe someone to assist them getting in and out of the tub. This seat is definitely not meant for an apartment sized bathroom/tub or a larger person.

Cheaply made but can’t beat the prices!!
Kinda cheaply made but for the price you can’t go wrong. Any medical assist equipment is crazy expensive. This makes the process of showering my relative way smoother and less back breaking and more comfortable.Yes cheaply made but so far it’s lasted and does what it’s meant to do.

My wife is disabled and this chair is used daily. The middle section removes to allow my wife to wash her bottom herself. It makes it easy to get her in and out of the shower. My wife can now take a shower herself and only needs here in and out of the shower. Thanks for building a sliding chair that is durable with a removable seat area.

This looks like an excellent product – innovative design and well made, and easy to assemble. I would have rated it with five stars but we had to return it because the legs were not long enough, even when adjusted to the full height, to clear the edge of the bath. We raised this with the manufacturer but although they acknowledged our question about whether longer legs could be provided, they did not come back with any solution. With great regret we had to return it.

El producto en si esta bien, pero no trae los apoyabrazos que describen en el anuncio ni hay forma de conseguirlos. Solo llega lo que se ve en las fotos.

My wife loves this. She can now get in and out of the shower on her own. Chair slides smoothly and works well.
