I Love This Gait Belt!!
This Gait Belt is Awesome!! It is well constructed, sturdy, adjustable, the handles are made so they’re easy to grab and without hurting your hands because they’re padded with a stiff foam like material. The Belt itself has some light padding and is wider so that when you tighten it on your patient it’s a lot more comfortable! I love that the Belt clips instead of having to try to run it through a buckle. I have recommended it and shown it to lots of nurses, physical therapists and caregivers.

Great gait belt!
Solid construction and comfortable to wear for hours. I can haul on my patient (as can be needed if a fall is threatened) and trust this belt not to fail me. I love the padded handles, but one of them has torn. The loop underneath is intact so it’s still useable.

It is very hard to keep in place. You could use with very high functioning walker. In other words hard to use with person at earlier stages of walking in recovery

The handle tore away from the belt in the first few days of use. The patient weighs 160lb. The product should be capable of handling that. We weren’t even doing a full lift, just a sliding transfer.
